3. Today's Feature Article: Good Intentions
-----------------------------------------------------------

There Are No Rewards For Good Intentions.

We do some interesting things we humans. Among them is how
we constantly are measuring ourselves and others. It seems
to be an unconscious thing - something that can be stopped
when one makes a strong effort. Most folks just do it, it's
a way to see how we stand.

When I was in High School it mattered a great deal. It is
commonly called the 'Pecking Order' after the same
phenomenon in the animal world. When it came to physical
toughness (often more bravado then strength), or grades
(equated to brains then), or beauty....we all sort of knew
where we stood. And it was important to know.

Growing up, my family moved often. Each time I was thrown
into a new environment, with new kids, the first order of
business was to determine my 'ranking'. Long before I knew
who the teachers were, I HAD to know who the Bullies were.
AND - determine how to live with that.

As adults the measuring process is usually not quite so
blatant. Not usually. No, more often when we observe others
it is to see how we can fit together. In order to manage our
relationships.

The competitive business world often pressures people.
Rather than trying to better a personal best they sometimes
strive to be better than each other.

In doing that, it becomes easy to become judgmental. Of
course we always judge others by what they do. By what they
manage to accomplish, whether it be on the job, in sports,
wherever. Vince Lombardi said it best: "Some of us will do
our jobs well and some will not, but we will all be judged
by only one thing - the result."

The biggest difficulty in this scenario (if it is to exist
at all) is that we do not utilize the same ruler in the them
VS me measurement. As much as we count others by what they
DO, we measure ourselves by what we INTEND. We allow
ourselves what we would never allow others. That is what
armchair quarterbacking is all about.

No one pays for Good Intentions. They only have a value in
the making of excuses. It is time we all learned that ANY
time we measure or judge others we are wrong. And that the
only measuring should be how far we ourselves have come.

This is obviously something which all humanity struggles
with, and has since time immemorial. It was clearly stated
by Paul in Romans 7:19. "For the good that I would do, I do
not; but the evil which I would not do, that I do."

It's time for us to raise the bar. To throw off the habits
of our youth and put a value on no one. But to lift
ourselves up to become the best we possibly can. Each day we
have the capability of being a better example of what we
want to become. And in that striving, becoming all God wants
us to be.

Till next time. Good luck and God Bless.
Remember, IdeasWIN. Develop yours, Chris

5. Guest Article: Craziest Internet Business Idea
-----------------------------------------------------------

The Craziest Internet Business Idea In History

So, you've got a great Internet business idea. Yeah, I'm
talking to you. You know who you are. You have this great
idea that you love to brag about. You tell all of your
friends how it's going to make you a millionaire.

And to you, oh great generator of ideas, I say:

So what!

I know (literally) hundreds of people that come up with
million dollar ideas on a daily basis. I can count on my
hands, however, the number of those people that have
actually achieved a respectable level of success with those
ideas.

What about you? Are you sitting there feeling good about
yourself with that great idea of yours or are you actually
doing something about it?

Now, before you answer that question, be honest with
yourself about what you want. Some people, it seems, are
satisfied just having people pat them on the back for having
such a great idea.

What about you? Is the pat on the back enough? If so, stop
reading right now. I'm just going to waste your time if that
is the case.

However, if you're one of the elite few that genuinely has
what it takes to turn that idea into money, read on.

--- Point of No Return Starts Here ---

Still with me?

OK, then. Let's get started.

1. Pick one idea.

Decide right now that you want to turn this idea into money
and try not to get bogged down in other ideas.

You're going to come up with hundreds of other ideas before
you see this one to completion. Resist the temptation to
treat all of them equally. You will be tempted to pursue
every single idea you have. This is the kiss of death. You
need to narrow your focus. That's the key to success.

2. Stop rationalizing.

Somewhere along the way you're going to say to yourself:
"This idea isn't working, because it's not the best idea. I
should have picked another."

Rubbish! This is the lazy part of your mind trying to give
you an excuse for quitting.

Don't quit. You don't know that the "other idea" is better.
You *can't* know this.

Drive on.

3. It's the marketing, stupid.

You should spend more of your time marketing than on any
other task. In the course of running your business, it's
easy to get caught up in a million idiotic things.

For example: "Which color paint do you think would look best
in the ladies room? Pink or mauve?"

Who cares! Make little decisions quickly, or pass them to
someone else.

If you are not spending 90% of your working day on
marketing, something is wrong.

Fix it!

Now, you can say to yourself: "Of course he's right - I
don't need Mark Joyner to tell me all these things" and then
forget everything I've said.

Or...

Or, you can get started right now. I think you know which
path leads to wealth and success. The question is, do you
really want it?

Don't wish it was easier; wish you were better. Don't
