Welcome back and Welcome to you new members. If you are a
citizen of the USA - Happy Birthday to you for your Country.
I hope you are as proud and uplifting of it as the many
souls put in the ground to protect the freedoms we enjoy
eery single day.

This weeks' Feature Article touched me greatly when I read
it. In it Len T. restates some of what I talked about last
week - and I think you'll agree - it is a MUST READ. If it
touches you pass this Issue along to someone you know that
needs to read this just now.

My wife are just a little nuts this week as my in-laws are
moving in with us. So as the Alice's White Rabbit declared,
"No time to say hello - goodbye, I'm late , I'm Late, I'm
LATE."

And now....Let's Get Started!

How would you like to call Taiwan, from anywhere in the
world, (even that foreign country of Pennsylvania) for 6
cents a minute?

Too good to be true? Maybe, but it's still true! And Taiwan
is not the only place that has low cost. But for most folks
who aren't calling Europe & Asia....it's even better.

Call any telephone in the USA far free. No time limits, no
monthly charges, No Bull. This one you NEED to know about.

3. In The Spotlight
-----------------------------------------------------------

A small number of sites are offering e-mail technical
support
for free. These are manned by part time 'knowledgeable
people' and turn around time is not guaranteed. Neither is
the Quality of the response.

Some sites are offering e-mail support by full time
professionals for between $9.95 to $14.95 PER INDIVIDUAL
QUESTION!

We shall be offering ...

* UNLIMITED 24/7 e-mail technical support

* By 90 Full Time Professionals

* With a 4 hour max turn around

***** For only $19.50 A YEAR *****

TO encourage sign ups we have deliberately kept the price to
an affordable level, and of course we have the tech support
company to pay.

This compares to up to $14.95 and more PER QUESTION on other
sites, and offers incredible and PROVEN value. We are 100%
positive that you will agree.

Why Do I Even Bother...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By Len Thurmond
I subscribe to many newsletters, and there are a lot of
good ones out there.
Recently I read a short editorial in Malcolm Harvey's
Success Train Newsletter,
mailto:subscribe@successtrain.com?subject=subscribe that
reminded me of Why I Do This. This is what it said...
----------------
How Do You Measure Success?
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection
of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the
betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child,
a redeemed social condition, or a job well done;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have
lived -
This is to have succeeded.
----------------
As we struggle to succeed in this crazy game that we have
elected to play, we tend to lose sight of the important
things in life.
The smile of a child, The laughter of a loved one. These
are the important things.
All my life, all I ever wanted, was to be remembered for
something, anything. Just to not be forgotten, as if I
had never been.
It has always seemed to me that the purpose of this life
is to leave it with a positive, lasting impression.
What I sometimes forget, is that it doesn't have to be
me that leaves that mark on the world.
As long as I can be some small part in the greater good,
whether directly or indirectly, then my life can be deemed
a success.
It might be my kids, or my kids' kids, or someone that I
helped to get beyond their burden.
As long as one life has been changed for the better,
because of our being here, then we are the very definition
of success.
There are many ways to impact the world, and I believe that
for good or bad, everyone does so, in one way or another.
It's unavoidable.
One of my favorite movies is 'It's A Wonderful Life'.
Yea, I know, just don't tell anybody, it'll ruin my macho
image!! But think about it.
The point to that movie was to show how we all impact so
many lives, in little ways that could eventually change the
world.
All we can do is to try to be the best that we can be, and
do unto others... well you know the rest of that tune.
But there was a reason that they beat those silly limericks
into us as kids!
What the heck does this have to do with business?
Well I'll tell ya bunkie...
There's a new start up business on the Internet, every few
minutes, and quite frankly, most of them don't give a damn
whether you make a dime or not, as long as they can fleece
you, before you catch on.
They prey on the novices, but if they're good, they'll
catch a few of us old catfishes, too!
"As visions of sugarplums dance in our heads", they're
emptying out our bank accounts.
The biggest problem, with these 'legal scams', is that they
proliferate themselves by teaching the burned victims how
to light a fire.
This kind of action hurts everyone.
In the end it touches us all, whether directly or
indirectly, by 'scaring the wary' away from the legitimate
programs that we are trying so hard to make work for
everyone.
DO NOT fall into this trap.
The best way to succeed in business, as in life, is to
gear yourself towards service to others.
If you can teach your affiliates to succeed, and be there
for them when they need you, then they will do the same
for theirs, and everyone will prosper.
But, treat them like a number, and they will be the last
number in your line!
It's far more profitable, in the long run, to have a few
never ending lines of success oriented affiliates, all
helping each other to succeed,
Then to have a whole lot of one time, disgruntled buyers,
who move on in search of the one who cares.
Be that one!
Be a success!
Affiliate Marketing Techniques:
        Scatter Gun Or Shot Gun Approach?
Affiliate marketing question - Should you join every
affiliate program you can find or just a few?
There are many thousands of affiliate programs on the net
that you can join. Every man and his dog is running one. But
how do you decide which ones to join?
There are two trains of thought in this area. First you can
take the scatter gun approach, which is quite popular on the
net, and join as many programs as possible. This ensures
that at least SOME of them will pay off. Well, that's the
theory.
The other alternative is to take the shot gun approach. Join
some leading affiliate programs in just a few areas and put
more effort into each one. Do some affiliate marketing
research by reading as many articles on the subject as
possible. This way you can narrow down your candidates.
Well, as always there are pros and cons to both but why not
do what everyone else is not doing. It seems to me most
sites are taking the scatter gun approach. For example: We
have 3,000 affiliate programs listed on our site. We have
the largest selection of affiliate programs!
Why not focus? Find your own niche. Find a particular area
that you are interested in.
Example: Perhaps your interest is in selling rare papyrus
from Egypt and you find there is only one affiliate program
dedicated to this. You join. You focus your affiliate
marketing strategies on this product. You are not thinking
about selling papyrus from Egypt one minute and then long
distance phone calls the next. With fewer products and
services you are able to focus more energy and effort
onto the products and services that you have a genuine
interest in. You may even be considered an expert in this
particular area because of your knowledge.
There are many webmasters doing just fine with their
hundreds or even thousands of affiliate programs, but the
market for the scatter gun approach now appears to be
cluttered.
This is where the specialists enter. The new breed of
webmaster that focuses on particular products or services.
Alternatively your focus may be on one area, and selecting
only the best-selling, highest-paying commissions for that
field. Then you target your affiliates with high level
affiliate marketing techniques. Now there is room for
the specialist to succeed.
Target your affiliate programs.
Pick just a few.
Concentrate all of your time into marketing these programs -
because you are so passionate about the product or service
you are selling, you will drive more targeted traffic to
your affiliate program.
