One of my favorite Newsletters comes from FreeWareHome. You
can tell by the title why I love it! I just received a VERY
important message from them and have included it below. This
is something we all need to be aware of and fight against.

Warning! You are being hijacked! Due to the desperate need
to fight the latest scumware/spyware to hit the net, we have
been somewhat distracted from providing new items on
Freeware Home & Kids Freeware, for this we apologize but
this issue is deadly serious.

Many of you may have heard of Microsoft's "SmartTags"
development which, thankfully, they have put on hold due to
public outcry. The same is NOT true of eZula, Filemix, &
Gator! eZula's "TopText"; Filemix's "Surf+"; Gator's "Offer
Companion"; are all the worst kind of scumware/spyware that
we have ever seen! When installed on your computer they
track you all over the net; can reinstall the uninstalled
program without your knowledge; can alter ZoneAlarm
settings; hijack ANY webpage that you view & plaster ad
links all over it. NO webmaster has ANY control over this &
it is a known fact that at least Surf+ has porn site links!!

What Puts The Sparkle In Your Eye?

I don't know - maybe it's part of the "Human Condition" but
I've noticed that most of us spend an awful lot of time
focused on what is wrong.

And that ain't right!

We spend our lives building things. We build ourselves, a
job, a marriage, self-image, a business, our family, and on
and on. Our entire life is spent in development.

When you are building a cabinet and make a mistake, what do
you do? Spend all the rest of the time allotted cursing that
error? Do some sit around and think over & over how terrible
it is and how this mistake has ruined not only the cabinet
but everything else too?

I don't think so. You see what you can do to correct the
problem and go on. Otherwise you won't build many cabinets.
And yet how often do we see someone struggling with some
difficulty in life, perhaps with a relationship or in their
business - and they just STOP. Sometimes they mentally quit
everything - forever!

They stop and spend all their energy focusing on the
problem. And not an iota is spent on what it will take to
fix the problem and move on.

If the mental & emotional energy that is WASTED by
concentrating on problems could be turned upside down and
focused instead on solutions the entire world would be set
on it's ear.

Think about just the side effects. When you are centered on
troubles....How do you feel? Good? Not much. And how to
those around you react to you when you are being negative
and just upset about what is holding you back? Do they offer
to help or do they pull away and not even want to hear about
it?

But when you have as your focal point solving your
problem....How do you feel? If you are anything like me you
feel energized, motivated. You feel useful and positive. You
walk and talk differently. You actually get a Sparkle in
your eyes. And how to those around you react to you when you
have a determined set to your jaw, a Sparkle in your eye and
the solution focus? My experience has been that people are
drawn to the person giving off that kind of positive energy!

So the next time sales are down...
The next time you have a marital disagreement...
When your screwdriver is missing...
If your teenager is hostile...
And your boss gave you a bad review - do not spend one
minute fixated on the problem. Spend all the energy of your
being in developing and working on a or even several
solutions and suddenly you will feel better. Your actions
will show others your focus, they will see the Sparkle in
your eye and recognize it as the Eye of the Tiger.

10. Use logos and slogans for your business. They
make it easier for people to remember and identify
